The Asaga Ohafia community in Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State has lauded Governor Alex Otti for approving the reconstruction of the Asaga-Amuke road/Ugwu Iyiebi bridge, abandoned for a long time.
The community made this known in a letter of appreciation signed by the development Union President and Secretary-General of the community, Chief Okpa Ibekwem Okpa, Obinna Onugu and the publicity secretary, Stanley Mba.

The community described the governor as a great leader who cares so much about the needs of the people.
It said the governor’s approval of the reconstruction of Asaga-Amuke Road/Ugwu Iyiebi Bridge, abandoned for several years was a proof of his love for the people of Asaga and Amuke Ohafia.
According to the letter, the efforts of Alex Otti led administration in providing the needed infrastructure linking various communities in the area through the Greater Ohafia Development Authority (GODA) have shown that the Governor was determined to assist people in rural communities whose businesses have suffered due to bad roads.
They prayed God to give the Governor the wisdom and strength to continue to successfully pilot the affairs of the state.

The community also commended the Director General of GODA, Engr Obinna Odum, for the good works he has been doing and called for the reconstruction of more critical rural roads in the area.
