Enyimba Football Club has announced the decision to relieve Technical Adviser Stanley Eguma and his assistants, Ndubuisi Nduka and Joseph Boma, of their duties following a series of disappointing performances.
The development, confirmed through an official communication issued to Coach Eguma after an emergency management meeting, comes in the wake of the club’s NPFL match day 13 defeat to Wikki Tourist FC at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba. The directive takes immediate effect.
According to the club’s management, the temporary shake-up will allow for a comprehensive review of the team’s recent form and the measures needed to restore improved performance.
In the interim, Assistant Coach Lawrence Ukaegbu has been instructed to oversee training sessions and lead preparations for Enyimba’s match day 14 fixture against Katsina United, scheduled to take place in Jos next Sunday.
