In a bold and strategic move, Tottenham Hotspur have officially completed the signing of Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United in a deal worth £55 million.

Kudus, who had also been on the radar of Chelsea and Newcastle, has committed to a six-year contract with Spurs. The versatile attacker is expected to add firepower and creativity to Ange Postecoglou’s frontline, offering the ability to play across all attacking positions a quality Tottenham have been keen to secure this summer.
The 23-year-old made a strong impression during his time at West Ham, contributing 13 goals and 12 assists in 65 Premier League appearances since arriving from Ajax in 2023. His flair, strength, and eye for goal quickly made him one of the most exciting attacking midfielders in the league.
Interestingly, this is the first transfer deal between Tottenham and West Ham in over a decade, with the last being Scott Parker’s switch to White Hart Lane in 2011. Given the rivalry between the two London clubs, the move has stirred conversation across fan bases but for Spurs, it’s a statement of intent.

With Kudus now in the ranks, Tottenham are sending a clear message ahead of the new season: they mean business.
