Concerned political leaders in Abia State have convened a special meeting as part of early consultations and strategic planning ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting, convened by Prince G.O. Ndubueze, is scheduled for Monday, April 13, 2026, and is expected to bring together key stakeholders to deliberate on emerging political re-engineering and engagement frameworks within the state.

According to the organisers, the session will hold by 11:00 a.m. at No. 62 Faulks Road, 4th Floor, opposite BTC in Aba.

Participants are expected to examine evolving political dynamics and explore pathways for stronger collaboration among leaders in the state as preparations for the next electoral cycle gradually intensify.

Observers note that such early consultations reflect growing political activity across Abia, as actors begin to position themselves and shape alliances ahead of 2027.
