MICHAEL B. JORDAN WINS BEST ACTOR OSCAR FOR ‘SINNERS’

Hollywood actor Michael B. Jordan has won the Best Actor award at the Academy Awards for his powerful performance in the film Sinners, marking the first Oscar victory of his career.

Jordan received the prestigious honor during the 98th Academy Awards ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The 39-year-old actor earned widespread acclaim for portraying twin brothers, Elijah “Smoke” and Elias “Stack,” in the supernatural drama.

The film, directed by Ryan Coogler, blends horror and historical themes, following two brothers confronting a mysterious evil in a racially charged setting. During his acceptance speech, Jordan thanked God, his family, and longtime collaborator Coogler for believing in his talent and giving him the opportunity to bring the characters to life.
