Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has dismissed reports alleging that she snubbed Fuji music star Pasuma at a recent public event.
The controversy began after a viral video from the birthday celebration of actress Faithia Williams circulated online, with some social media users claiming Akindele ignored the veteran singer during the occasion.
Reacting to the speculation, Akindele took to social media to deny the allegation, insisting that she greeted Pasuma warmly and even danced with him during the event.
“Snub? Hell no. Stop the negativity, please. I saw him, greeted him, danced with him. Pasuma is my Egbon,” she wrote while rejecting the claims.
The actress also reposted a separate clip showing their interaction, questioning why false narratives were being spread online.
Akindele’s response quickly drew reactions from fans, many of whom urged the public not to judge celebrities solely from short viral clips taken out of context.
