The Federal High Court in Abuja has found suspended Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, guilty of contempt of court and fined her ₦5 million.
Delivering the ruling on Friday, Justice Binta Nyako stated that Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan violated a court order by posting a satirical apology to Senate President Godswill Akpabio on her Facebook page on April 7. The court held that her post mocked a gag order previously imposed on all parties involved in the matter.
