The leadership and members of Echezona Street Vanguard have expressed their condolences to the Abia State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Uzor Nwachukwu, following the burial of his father, the late HRH Eze Sir George Eneogwe Nwachukwu.

Led by its Chairman, Comrade Michael Chijioke Amaku, the group joined family members, friends, and well-wishers at the funeral ceremony held in Nneoyi, Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area

The event attracted a large gathering of dignitaries from across Abia State and beyond, who came to pay their final respects to the late traditional ruler and celebrate his contributions to community development and traditional leadership.

Among those in attendance were Governor Alex Otti and his wife, Mrs. Cecilia Otti, the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Emmanuel Emeruwa, members of the State House of Assembly, federal and state lawmakers, members of the State Executive Council, traditional rulers, and other prominent personalities.

Speakers at the ceremony paid glowing tributes to the late monarch, describing him as a respected leader who dedicated his life to the service of his people and the preservation of cultural values.

They highlighted his commitment to peace, community development, and traditional institution building, noting that his legacy would continue to inspire future generations.

Following the funeral service, the remains of the late royal father were laid to rest at his palace amid emotional scenes from family members, community leaders, and mourners.

Echezona Street Vanguard prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased and encouraged the Nwachukwu family to find strength and comfort in the lasting impact of his life and service.

The group also reaffirmed its support for Prince Uzor Nwachukwu and his family during this period of mourning.

The burial ceremony served as a celebration of a life devoted to leadership, community service, and the advancement of traditional institutions in Abia State.
