Nigeria’s Super Eagles have been drawn alongside Madagascar, Guinea-Bissau and Tanzania in Group L of the qualification series for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.

The draw was conducted this Tuesday in Cairo, Egypt, setting up another qualifying campaign for the three-time African champions ahead of the tournament scheduled for 2027.

Nigeria will face familiar opponents in the group, having previously met Guinea-Bissau, Tanzania and Madagascar in recent CAF competitions.

Tanzania, one of the co-hosts of the tournament alongside Kenya and Uganda, will qualify automatically from the group regardless of their final position.

The qualification matches are expected to begin between September and October 2026, while the tournament proper will hold from June 19 to July 17, 2027.
