2027: Atuma Mobilises APC Candidates, Stakeholders, Targets Total Victory For APC In Abia Central

The All Progressives Congress senatorial candidate for Abia Central, Hon. Emeka Atuma, popularly known as Kabila, has pledged to mobilise support for all APC candidates in the senatorial district ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Atuma made the commitment while hosting a strategic meeting of APC candidates, party leaders and major stakeholders from across Abia Central at his country home in Ntalakwu, Oboro.

Those at the meeting included the APC candidate for the Isiala Ngwa North/South Federal Constituency, Sir Uzo Ihuka; Chief Iheanacho Ogumka; Iheyianna Mgbeahuru; Innocent Nwachukwu; and several candidates contesting seats in the Abia State House of Assembly.

Also in attendance were APC local government chairmen from Umuahia North, Umuahia South, Isiala Ngwa North, Isiala Ngwa South, Osisioma and Ikwuano Local Government Areas.

Among the party leaders present were Chief Charles Ogbonnaya, popularly known as Evule Ogu Ibeku; Hon. Chidi Nwosu; Chief Emmanuel Egwu, also known as Eselu; Sir Gabriel Onyendilefu; Hon. Chief Ngozi Oji; and Hon. Wisdom Ogbonna.

Addressing the gathering, Atuma said he was prepared for the 2027 election and would work with party members and stakeholders to secure victory for the APC across Abia Central.

He specifically pledged to mobilise support for the party’s governorship candidate, Chief Eric Opah, in the senatorial district, while urging party members to work together towards the realisation of the APC’s electoral objectives.

Atuma stressed the importance of collective mobilisation, coordination and commitment, saying the success of the party would require the contributions of candidates, leaders and grassroots members.

In their separate remarks, speakers at the meeting emphasised the need for unity, discipline and a common purpose among APC members in Abia Central.

They maintained that sustained cooperation among the candidates and party leadership would be critical to strengthening the party’s chances in the 2027 elections.
