Justin Bieber has been confirmed as one of the headline performers for the first-ever halftime show at the FIFA World Cup final, joining an all-star lineup that includes Madonna, Shakira and BTS.
FIFA announced that the Canadian pop superstar will perform during the 11-minute entertainment spectacle at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, scheduled for July 19 at the New York New Jersey Stadium.
The halftime show, inspired by the Super Bowl format, will also feature Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy, Coldplay, renowned Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 Chorus.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is serving as the creative curator for the landmark performance, which aims to combine football, music and philanthropy on the world’s biggest sporting stage.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino said the event will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative focused on expanding access to quality education and football opportunities for children worldwide.
Bieber expressed excitement about participating in the historic event, describing the FIFA World Cup as a unique platform that unites people across cultures through sport and music.
