Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard is on the verge of leaving the Premier League champions after reportedly agreeing personal terms with Turkish giants Besiktas ahead of a summer transfer.

According to reports, Besiktas have reached an agreement with Arsenal for the transfer of the Belgian international, with only the final stages of the deal remaining before it is officially completed.

Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023 and became an important member of Mikel Arteta’s squad. Known for his versatility and attacking quality, the Belgian featured in several key matches during his time at the Emirates Stadium, contributing goals and assists as Arsenal enjoyed domestic success.

The 31-year-old is now expected to continue his career in Turkey, where Besiktas are strengthening their squad ahead of the new season. His arrival is seen as a significant addition to the Istanbul-based club’s attacking options.

Arsenal are also believed to be planning reinforcements to replace Trossard, with the club linked to several attacking players as manager Mikel Arteta continues to reshape his squad for the upcoming campaign.

An official announcement is expected once the remaining paperwork and formalities have been completed.
