Wilfred Ndidi

Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has delivered a blunt assessment of Beşiktaş’s performance following their 0-0 draw against Fatih Karagümrük in the Turkish Super Lig, describing the display as “bad” and disappointing.

The match, played at the Tüpraş Stadium, saw Beşiktaş dominate possession and create several chances but fail to convert any into goals, leaving them frustrated against a disciplined Karagümrük side.

Speaking after the game, Ndidi said the team started poorly and struggled to find solutions in the first half, adding that their overall performance did not meet expectations.

“We were bad. This is unacceptable,” the midfielder reportedly said, stressing the need for improvement and better execution in future matches.

Despite controlling large portions of the game and creating clear scoring opportunities, Beşiktaş were denied by poor finishing and strong goalkeeping from Karagümrük.

The result adds pressure on the Istanbul club as they continue their push for European qualification, with Ndidi urging the squad to quickly refocus ahead of their next fixture.
