The Nigeria Football Federation has ordered the Super Falcons’ technical crew to step down with immediate effect following Nigeria’s disappointing 2026 WAFCON campaign.
The Super Falcons, who entered the tournament as defending champions, were knocked out by Cameroon in the quarter-finals. Their subsequent failure against South Africa also affected their route to the 2027 Women’s World Cup.
The NFF has yet to announce a replacement, leaving the federation to decide on a new technical set-up for the 10-time African champions.
