Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has insisted he still enjoys “complete support” from both the club and the fanbase despite growing pressure following a difficult spell for the Reds.

The Dutch manager is facing scrutiny after a series of disappointing results in recent weeks.Liverpool have suffered three consecutive defeats, including a 2-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final and a heavy 4-0 defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup.

The results have added to a worrying run that has seen the club win just two of their last eight matches in all competitions. The pressure on Slot has intensified ahead of Liverpool’s upcoming Premier League clash with Fulham. However, the 45-year-old manager maintains that the backing from the club’s hierarchy and supporters remains strong despite the recent downturn in form.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Slot reiterated that he continues to feel supported at Anfield. “I am repeating myself a lot but I have said many times, I feel a lot of support,” he said, stressing that the club remains united during the challenging period.

Liverpool currently sit fifth in the Premier League table, a position that would still secure qualification for next season’s Champions League after English clubs were awarded an additional spot in Europe’s top competition. However, the margin is slim, with Chelsea just one point behind in sixth place.

Elsewhere, Brentford and Merseyside rivals Everton remain within striking distance in seventh and eighth respectively. Addressing the pressure to secure a top-five finish after not winning a league match since February 28, Slot admitted the team fell short in their recent European clash but believes improvements will come.
