Hon. Ceekay Igara Celebrates Abia Deputy Governor Emetu on his birthday, Calls for Deeper Commitment to Service

Hon. Ceekay Igara, the National Vice Chairman of the Labour Party for the South East zone, has extended warm birthday felicitations to Abia State Deputy Governor, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, describing him as a leader whose dedication to governance continues to justify the trust placed in him by the people.

In a congratulatory message issued to mark the occasion, Igara praised Emetu’s track record of steadfast leadership and his visible support for people-oriented governance and development initiatives across Abia State.

“Your dedication to service, steadfast leadership, and commitment to the progress of Abia State remain commendable,” Igara stated, adding that Emetu had continued to prove himself worthy of the confidence reposed in him since assuming office.

However, the Labour Party chieftain did not limit his message to praise alone. He urged Emetu to push further in delivering impact and consolidating a legacy of accountability that would stand the test of time.

“Abia deserves nothing less than our very best,” Igara affirmed, in what many observers may read as a broader charge to the entire Abia State executive to intensify its commitment to the welfare of citizens.

The Labour Party leader concluded by wishing the Deputy Governor sound health, renewed strength, and continued accomplishments in the years ahead.

Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu serves as Deputy Governor of Abia State, a position he holds alongside Governor Alex Otti’s administration, which came to power on the platform of the Labour Party following the 2023 general elections.
