Love Ogah, daughter of the revered Nigerian clergyman and founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has shared a startling account of an alleged assassination attempt on her father during her secondary school years.
Speaking during a recent sermon, Ogah narrated how a group of armed assailants invaded their family home with a clear intent to take Bishop Oyedepo’s life.
According to her, the attackers openly stated their mission and conducted a thorough search of the residence.
“They came and said they were there to kill my father,” she said. “They searched everywhere room by room but couldn’t find him.”
She revealed that although the entire family witnessed the incident in shock, the assailants eventually left without accomplishing their objective.
In a twist that has since sparked spiritual reflection among many, Ogah recounted that Bishop Oyedepo later emerged and revealed he had been in the house the entire time, watching as the scene unfolded.
“My father came out and said he saw them the whole time they just couldn’t see him. It felt like something out of a movie,” she recalled.

According to Ogah, the Bishop attributed his survival to divine intervention, maintaining that the assailants were supernaturally blinded to his presence.
