Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt have intensified their pursuit of Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika after submitting an official bid to Belgian champions Club Brugge.

The German side have identified Onyedika as a key midfield target as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season. Negotiations between both clubs are currently ongoing, although no agreement has been reached.

Onyedika has established himself as one of Club Brugge’s most influential players since joining the Belgian club in 2022. His consistent performances in the Belgian Pro League and European competitions have attracted interest from several clubs across Europe.

The 24-year-old midfielder is regarded as one of Nigeria’s brightest talents and has become a regular member of the Super Eagles, impressing with his composure, ball-winning ability and tactical awareness.

With his contract at Club Brugge approaching its final stages, speculation over a summer transfer has continued to grow, with Eintracht Frankfurt keen to strengthen their midfield ahead of the new campaign.

Although talks between the two clubs are progressing, Club Brugge are expected to demand a substantial transfer fee before allowing one of their key players to leave.

Should the deal materialise, Onyedika would become the latest Nigerian international to ply his trade in the German Bundesliga, marking another significant milestone in his rapidly developing career.
