Jack Grealish is already making headlines in blue. The Everton winger has been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for August, capping off a dream start to life on Merseyside.
The England international, who turned 30 on Wednesday, joined the Toffees on a season-long loan from Manchester City and has wasted no time proving his worth. In just two starts, he has delivered four assists, inspiring back-to-back wins over Brighton and Wolves. That tally makes him the league’s top creator so far, with two more assists than any other player just three games into the season.
It’s the first time Grealish has scooped the award, and he becomes the first Everton player to win it since Dominic Calvert-Lewin back in September 2020.
Grealish’s career has already seen him achieve remarkable milestones. Since making his Premier League debut for Aston Villa in May 2014, he has clocked up 193 appearances and collected three league titles with Manchester City. Yet, his Everton chapter is shaping up to be a special one.
Interestingly, before this season, Grealish had only ever provided two assists in the same Premier League game on two occasions. Now, he has set a new personal and club benchmark, becoming the first Everton player to register multiple assists in consecutive league matches.

All eyes will be on Goodison Park this Saturday when Everton host his former club, Aston Villa. Should Grealish extend his record with another multi-assist performance, he would be the first player in Premier League history to do so in three straight games a feat that would underline just how inspired his start at Everton has been.
