Members of the opposition coalition, operating under the banner of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), are gathering at the Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja for a scheduled media conference.
Among those already present are prominent political figures including the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi; former Kaduna State governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai; former Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung; Dino Melaye; media personality Dele Momodu; Senators Gabriel Suswam and Ireti Kingibe of the Labour Party.

Also in attendance are former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi; former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Emeka Ihedioha; and retired Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar.

The event is drawing participation from politicians affiliated with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Social Democratic Party (SDP), and Labour Party (LP). Former Senate President David Mark is expected to arrive shortly to lead other coalition members into the venue as the conference begins.
