Manchester City kept the Premier League title race alive with a commanding 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.

The win moved Pep Guardiola’s side to within two points of league leaders Arsenal with two matches remaining in the season. City also improved their goal difference advantage in what is becoming an increasingly tense title battle.

Despite making several changes to his starting lineup ahead of the FA Cup final against Chelsea, Guardiola’s rotated squad produced a dominant performance against Oliver Glasner’s side.

City opened the scoring through Antoine Semenyo after an impressive assist from Phil Foden, who was instrumental throughout the encounter. Omar Marmoush doubled the lead shortly before halftime with another assist from Foden, helping the England international reach 100 goal contributions for the club.

Brazilian winger Savinho added the third goal late in the second half following a precise assist from Rayan Cherki to seal a comfortable victory for the defending champions.

The result extended Manchester City’s unbeaten league run since January and maintained pressure on Arsenal, who remain top of the table with 79 points. City now sit on 77 points with matches against Bournemouth and Aston Villa still to come.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, remain 15th in the standings and face a difficult end to the campaign as they continue battling to finish strongly under Glasner.

Speaking after the match, Guardiola praised his team’s consistency and composure despite not controlling their own title destiny.

The victory further intensifies what has become one of the closest Premier League title races in recent years, with Arsenal and Manchester City both entering the final stretch under immense pressure.
