Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has unveiled his final 23-man list for Nigeria’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying encounters against Rwanda and South Africa in September.

The squad features experienced captain William Troost-Ekong, midfield maestro Wilfred Ndidi, and star forward Victor Osimhen, alongside 20 other players.

Despite concerns over his fitness, Stanley Nwabali has been cleared and returns between the sticks after being substituted in Chippa United’s last outing. In midfield, Ndidi and Alex Iwobi are expected to anchor proceedings, while the attacking charge will be spearheaded by Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.
