To: The Good People of Abia Central Senatorial District.

My dear people of Abia Central,

As we look ahead to 2027, it is important we pause and recognize the man who has already signed the “contract of good deeds” with our Senatorial District with his works, not just with his words.

That man is Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma popularly known as Kabila.

A LEADER TESTED IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES [2003 – 2007]
Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma served the people of Nigeria with distinction in the House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007 representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency.
During his single term, he distinguished himself as a lawmaker of capacity and conscience.

He served as Chairman, House Committee on Environment and Ecological Management — providing national leadership on climate, erosion control, and environmental protection.

ACTS & BILLS THAT CHANGED NIGERIA
Rt. Hon. Atuma’s legislative legacy is verifiable and still working for Nigerians today:
NESREA Act, 2007 – As Committee Chairman, he championed the passage of the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency Act, 2007. This landmark law replaced FEPA and established NESREA, the federal agency now responsible for environmental protection, pollution control, and sustainable development of Nigeria’s natural resources.

INSTITUTIONAL REFORMS Stakeholders across Abia Central recall that two of his bills evolved into key government agencies, positioning Nigeria prominently in ecological and economic discussions.

JOB & SME FOCUS – He sponsored and co-sponsored motions and bills for youth employment, SME empowerment, rural electrification, and social welfare that have translated into programs Nigerians benefit from today.

He didn’t just talk about problems — he took them to the floor of the House and delivered laws that created agencies and opportunities.

A MAN OF VISION AND GLOBAL CAPACITY
Beyond politics, Rt. Hon. Atuma has excelled in international business. He brought that same spirit of excellence, strategy, and accountability into public service. Because of his exposure, he knows how to attract investment, partnerships, and development that put our people first.

DEVELOPMENT YOU CAN SEE AND FEEL IN ABIA Central
ROADS constructed and rehabilitated to ease movement and trade, including the Ntalakwu road with others across the constituency.

ELECTRICITY PROJECTSThere is no part of Abia Central where Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma’s signature on electricity does not touch, and he further attracted more electricity interventions through NDDC. Today, not only homes and businesses, but our roads glow at night for both motorists and for our people to walk without fear at night.

COMMUNITY INTERVENTIONS in schools, health centers, market women empowerment, youth programs and more.

These are not promises. They are projects people are using right now. His imprint “has not receded into history; it has deepened into legacy”.

A HEART OF CARE AND KINDNESS
What sets Rt. Hon. Atuma apart is his heart. He is accessible, approachable, compassionate, and deeply committed to the welfare of the people. He listens. He responds. He shows up even if he does not come in person, you would acknowledge his care. His kindness is not for cameras and rethoric.

Abia Central deserves a leader who has already proven himself.
Abia Central deserves Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma “Kabila” in the Senate come 2027 — the man who signed a contract of good deeds with us.

As we approach the 2027 General Elections, let us stand together and secure the future by supporting a leader with capacity, compassion, and a clear record.

May God bless Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma.
May God bless Abia Central Senatorial District.
May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
