In a rare display of integrity that has captivated hearts across Aba and beyond, Mr. Lucky Okoro, a commercial tricycle operator popularly known as Onye Photo, has been rewarded with ₦2.1 million after returning a misplaced sum of ₦4 million left in his Keke by a Cameroonian passenger.
The touching incident occurred in Aba last week, drawing praise from all corners of the state.
Mr. Okoro, who hails from Umuomie in Obingwa Local Government Area, was celebrated by a group known as the Ikpeazu Faithfuls — loyalists to the former Abia State governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu — for his extraordinary honesty in the face of economic hardship.

Leading the reception was Hon. Rowland Nwakanma, who personally presented the cash reward of ₦2.1 million to Mr. Okoro. He described the tricycle rider as a “beacon of integrity and a true son of Abia.”
“In times like this, when good values are in short supply, Lucky has reminded us all that honesty is still a priceless virtue,” he said, earning a loud ovation from the crowd of youth leaders, community elders, and party members in attendance.
More than just a reward ceremony, the gathering served as a rallying call for the promotion of ethical conduct across the state. The Ikpeazu Faithfuls reaffirmed their commitment to upholding values of integrity, responsibility, and public service.
