Kun Khalifat FC have been charged for breaching the NPFL Framework & Rules after failing to honour their Matchday 24 fixture at El-Kanemi Warriors on Monday, February 2, 2026.
The reason given by the club for failing to honour the match was not accepted by the league body and as a result Kun Khalifat FC shall forfeit 3 points & 3 goals which would be awarded to their opponents, El-Kanemi Warriors in accordance to #NPFL26 Framework & Rules.
The club was also fined N10m for failing to honour their match obligation. This is a suspended sentence for the remaining part of #NPFL26 if no similar breach is committed within the period.
Kun Khalifat FC were given 48 hours from the date of notice to appeal these sanctions.
