Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has been formally charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
The 32-year-old, who became a free agent earlier this week following the expiration of his contract with Arsenal, faces serious legal accusations involving three different women.

According to the charges:
• Two counts of rape involve one woman,
• Three counts of rape involve a second woman, and
• The sexual assault charge pertains to a third woman.
The alleged incidents reportedly occurred between 2021 and 2022.
Partey is scheduled to appear before the Westminster Magistrates’ Court on August 5 to answer the charges.
