The development has drawn attention due to the age of the suspects, highlighting the growing reach of drug trafficking activities across different demographics.
The NDLEA said the operations form part of its broader mandate to eliminate the cultivation, production, and distribution of narcotic drugs in Nigeria.
Authorities reiterated their commitment to sustaining pressure on drug networks nationwide, warning that no group or individual regardless of age or status would be spared in the fight against illicit drugs.
The agency also called on members of the public to support its efforts by providing timely information that could aid in tracking and apprehending offenders.
