Aviation Minister Festus Keyamo on Monday lauded Enugu State Governor Peter Mbah as one of Nigeria’s top-performing governors, despite being a member of the opposition PDP.
Speaking at the official launch of Enugu Air in Enugu, Keyamo applauded Mbah’s leadership and development efforts, jokingly saying, “You’re in PDP, but we’re scared of you. The way you’re going, we don’t know how to stop you.” He praised Mbah’s progressive spirit and urged others to recognize excellence beyond party lines.
Keyamo also advised that Enugu Air be managed professionally, warning against political interference and inefficiencies.
The new airline will start operations with three Embraer jets (E170 and E190 models), flying initially between Enugu, Abuja, and Lagos, with expansion plans to other major Nigerian cities.
