According to the President, Nigerian-trained medical professionals are among the largest groups of international workers serving in the UK’s National Health Service.

He described their contributions as vital to healthcare delivery, adding that Nigerians in the diaspora continue to play important roles across various sectors in the UK.

Tinubu also highlighted the broader relationship between Nigeria and the United Kingdom, noting that both countries share long-standing historical, cultural and institutional ties.

He said the Nigerian community in the UK remains one of the most dynamic diaspora groups, contributing to national development in areas such as healthcare, sports and business.

The President further emphasised the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between both countries, expressing optimism about continued cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The visit marks a significant moment in Nigeria-UK relations, coming as part of ongoing efforts to deepen diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.
