The Football Association Chairmen of the South East States have endorsed NFF President, Ibrahim Musa Gusau for a second term in office.
This endorsement was done by the five chairmen of the zone, alongside NFF First Vice President, Chief Felix Anyansi Agwu and George Aluo, Chairman of the Nigeria National League, NNL.
This was done in a zoom meeting on Saturday. The resolution of the zone was conveyed to the press by Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association, Chikelue Iloeyonsi.
“The President has earned himself a second term in office. His achievements are there to see; the FIFA projects which include the renovation and building of pitches, players hostels and infrastructural revamp.
“One good turn deserves another. That is why the zone has come out with one voice for a man who has worked hard to develop our football and we want him to continue his giant strides in guiding our football to destination,” Chikelue said.
This was also endorsed by Enugu State FA Chairman, Tony Ugwu; Ifeanyi Ugwu, Imo State FA Chairman; Dr Obioma Onyeaghala, Abia State FA Chairman and Senator Obinna Ogba, Ebonyi State FA Chairman.
