HRM King Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere Announces Entrance Exam for OPM Free School for Autism & Down Syndrome

On Saturday, 13 September 2025, the Omega Power Ministries (OPM), under the leadership of HRM King Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, held the entrance examination for the OPM Free School for Children with Autism and Down Syndrome.

The initiative, which is the first of its kind in Rivers State and one of the few in Nigeria, offers 100% free education to children with special needs, regardless of religion or denomination. Parents were required to present their child’s medical report during the screening, which began at 7:00 a.m.

Successful candidates gain access to a complete package that includes:
• Free school bus transportation
• Free school uniforms and canvas
• Free feeding throughout the school day
• Free textbooks and learning resources designed for special needs education

All of these benefits are fully funded through tithes, offerings, and partnerships of OPM Church.

This project further underscores Apostle Chibuzor’s reputation as one of Nigeria’s most consistent philanthropists, especially in education. Beyond this school, OPM has established over 20 free schools nationwide, built free hospitals and skill acquisition centers, and provided scholarships both locally and internationally to thousands of students.

In recent years, OPM has also donated bicycles to pupils of the autism and Down syndrome school and purchased entire buildings to expand the program, demonstrating a hands-on commitment to the welfare of children with special needs.

By opening the doors of education to children who are often neglected, Apostle Chibuzor has set an example of inclusive, faith-driven philanthropy.
