The Abia State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has extended warm congratulations to Chief Obinna Oriaku following his appointment as a Federal Commissioner in the Federal Character Commission by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
In a statement signed by the party’s state chairman, Elder Abraham Amah, the PDP noted that while Chief Oriaku is not a member of the party, his track record of integrity, competence, and dedication to public service deserves recognition.
The party described Oriaku as “a man whose word is his bond” and expressed confidence that he will bring experience, fairness, and a deep understanding of governance to his new role, in line with the commission’s mandate to uphold equity, justice, and inclusiveness.
The Abia PDP concluded by wishing Chief Oriaku divine guidance, strength, and wisdom in serving the interests of all Nigerians through his new position.
