The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled a revised timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections, making adjustments to key dates for screening, appeals, and party primaries.
According to the updated schedule, the sale of Expression of Interest and Nomination forms began on April 25 and will close on May 2, while completed forms must be submitted no later than May 4, 2026.
The party said screening of aspirants for State Houses of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, governorship, and presidential positions will take place from May 6 to May 9 in phases.
Primary elections are set to commence on May 15 with House of Representatives contests, followed by Senate and State Assembly primaries, governorship selections, and ending with the presidential primary on May 23, 2026.

The APC also announced the fees for aspirants seeking its ticket. Presidential hopefuls are expected to pay ₦30 million for Expression of Interest and ₦70 million for Nomination forms, bringing the total cost to ₦100 million.
Governorship aspirants will pay ₦50 million in total, while Senate forms cost ₦20 million, House of Representatives ₦10 million, and State House of Assembly ₦6 million.
The party added that women, youths, and persons with disabilities would enjoy concessions, requiring only payment of the Expression of Interest fee and 50 percent of the Nomination fee for each position.
The revised timetable was signed by APC National Organising Secretary Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu and confirmed by National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka. The party said the schedule aligns with the Electoral Act 2026 and INEC guidelines for the 2027 elections.
