The campaign strategist, political adviser and media director of the Chinedum Orji Media Organization, Comrade Paul Ikechukwu Njoku, has issued a press statement debunking the allegation making rounds that the residence of former governor of Abia State, Senator T. A Orji, was raided by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) with all and sundry foreign currencies and exotic materials found.

He noted that such allegation is unfounded and unacceptable from the pit of political propagandists and perceived political enemy of Orji’s family.

In a press statement made available to the press on Saturday, Comrade Njoku stated that, “Our attention has been drawn to a viral social media post alleging that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) raided the Umuahia residence of former Abia State Governor, Chief Theodore Ahamefule Orji, CFR (Ochendo), and recovered billions of dollars, pre-written election results, gold necklaces, and exotic cars.

“Ordinarily, we would not dignify such content with a response. However, given the concern this has caused among well-meaning friends, associates, and supporters in Abia State and beyond, we consider it necessary to set the record straight.

“Chief Theodore Orji, CFR, is hale, hearty, and well. No such raid took place, either at his residence in Umuahia or anywhere in Nigeria.

“There were no incriminating items, neither were election material of any kind recovered, because no operation of the sort described ever occurred. This claim is entirely false and appears designed to mislead the public and cause needless alarm.

“We urge members of the public and press to disregard this publication and to verify claims of this nature through credible sources before circulating them.

“Our focus is unhinged and remains to spread the good message of our Principal- Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, the All-Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer for the Ikwuano/Umuahia North/South Federal Constituency in 2027.

“We will not be distracted by falsehood designed by unscrupulous elements hanging at straws”, the statement read.
