A suspected Boko Haram suicide bomber struck a crowded fish market in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State on Friday night, killing at least 10 people and injuring seven others.
According to security sources and eyewitness accounts, the attacker disguised themselves before infiltrating the market and detonating an explosive device.
The blast resulted in the immediate death of the bomber and 10 others, while seven victims sustained varying degrees of injuries.
Authorities have since cordoned off the area as investigations and emergency response efforts continue.
