The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State has dismissed reports claiming that it has replaced any of its candidates, insisting that all candidates who emerged through the party’s duly conducted primary elections remain valid and recognized.
The party described the reports circulating on social media and other platforms as false, misleading, and capable of causing unnecessary confusion among party members and supporters.
According to the APC, no candidate has been substituted or removed from the list submitted for the relevant elections. Party officials urged members to disregard unverified information and rely only on official communications from the party and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) regarding candidate status.
The party reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and due process, stressing that it remains united and focused on strengthening its campaign ahead of the elections.
It also called on supporters to remain calm and continue mobilizing for the party, assuring them that any official decisions concerning candidates would be communicated through the appropriate channels.
The clarification comes amid heightened political activities and speculation as parties intensify preparations for upcoming elections across the country.
