Residents and protesters on Sunday grounded vehicular movement along the busy Iwo Road axis in Ibadan, Oyo State, demanding the immediate release of schoolchildren and teachers who were recently abducted by suspected gunmen.

The demonstrators, made up of community members, parents, transport operators, and concerned residents, barricaded sections of the road, causing heavy traffic congestion and disrupting commercial activities in the area.
