When asked about his decision regarding the Super Eagles, Ideye reaffirmed his stance: he will no longer accept national team invitations. His reason? To allow younger players the opportunity to prove themselves on the international stage.
“The future belongs to them,” Ideye explained. “I believe in giving these young talents a chance to shine without overshadowing them.”
